Clarence Edward Booker, Jr. affectionally known as “Junie,” was born October 22, 1952. He peacefully departed this earth on August 3, 2025, at Heritage Hall, Blackstone, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward, Sr., mother Pauline W. Booker, and daughter, Lisa Booker Jackson. After graduating Luther H. Foster High School in 1971, he started employment at Phillip Morris and later joined the U.S. Army and ranked as 1st Class Sargeant and retired after 25 years of service. After retiring, he worked for Walmart Distribution for 12 years. Junie enjoyed music, detailing his cars, riding motorcycles, and keeping his lawn well kept.
He leaves to cherish two wonderful children, Sharon Booker, Lumberton, NC and Gabriel Booker, Petersburg, VA; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles (Mary), Blackstone, VA, Robert, Charlestown, IN, Paul (Pricilla) Amelia, VA; two sisters, Paula B. Meadows (Bruce), Deborah Bates (Darrell), both of Amelia, VA; uncle, Robert Wilson, Richmond, VA; aunts, Laverne Lewis, Amelia, VA, Frances Scott, Newport News, VA, Gladys Wilson, Amelia, VA; great aunt, Louise Worsham, Amelia, VA; host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends, devoted friends of the family Thelma Eggleston, Sylvia Booker, and Phyllistine Epes.
