He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sadie Stewart Jefferson; five children, Janet Delaney-Friend (Vincent), Thomas Jefferson III (April), Kimberly Bates (Robert), Pauline Jefferson, Paul Jefferson (Angie); grandchildren, sisters, brothers, other relatives, and many, many friends.
