The Life of Alvin Leroy Clark II


 


Alvin Leroy Clark II, 38, of Palmyra, VA, passed away in the early morning of April 20, 2026, at his home.  Alvin, or AJ as he was referred to by his family, was born September 4, 1987, to Alvin Leroy Clark and Veda Michele Moore. A special gift to his mom since he was born on her birthday.


AJ began his education at Salem Elementary in Fredericksburg, VA and then graduated from Goochland High School in Goochland, VA. where he was on the varsity football team.  He attended Reynold Community College in VA and received his associate’s degree.  He started playing soccer when he was 4 years old and played through his adult life.  AJ had an old soul, loved old school music, jazz, working on cars, guns and being out in the country.


His first job was at Foot Locker in Maryland.  AJ worked at NTB for five years, where his passion for cars – working on them, trading them and selling them truly shown. That passion was his hobby and his joy.  He then began his career employed at United Parcel Service (UPS) in 2015, where he started as a part-time package handler, became a manager and then became a UPS CDL driver.


AJ was always playful and funny since he could walk.  He didn’t have friends, he had family and he made everyone feel that way.  He would give his all for anyone, always being the first to step in and help. He always made everyone feel like his favorite.


His greatest love and proudest joy were his boys Andrew Joseph Clark and Adyen Katrell Clark.


He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Andrew Clark Jr., and James Leon Jeter; aunts Adelta Clark and Andrea Bennett; uncle’s Hamma King and Myron Jeter and Godfather Ernest Browning, Jr.


AJ leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Veda Michele Moore and his father Alvin Leroy Clark; sons, Andrew Joseph Clark, Ayden Katrell Clark; sister Brittney Kwakwea Beltran (Kei), brother Cameron Malcolm-Xavier Clark (Marwa); niece, Faith Clark; nephews, Christian Viera, Christopher Viera, Malix Clark, Zahir Clark, Kyrie Beltran, and Cairo Clark. Grandmothers Bettie Jeter and Ollie Green; grandfather George Johnson.  He also leaves a  host of other loving family and friends.
