Mrs. Bernice Virginia Hill

“I fought a good fight, finish the race, kept the faith.”

As we celebrate the life of our loved one, Bernice Virginia Hill, who went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2023, we know that God in His infinite wisdom and love chose the best.

On February 13, 1945, Bernice was born to the late Percy and Hattie Finney Worsham in Amelia, Virginia.  She attended and graduated from Luther H. Foster High School in 1964, now Nottoway High School.  She joined the Mount Level Baptist Church at a very tender age.

Bernice was employed by several food service companies.  She retired after fifty plus years of service.  She loved to watch TV, shopping at the Plaza, and cooking.

Bernice leaves to cherish fond memories, two devoted sons, Walter L. Hill, Jr., and Leroy Hill; granddaughter, Taniyah Hill; brother, Benjamin Worsham (Mary); uncle, Charles Finney (Queen); nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
