Stephen Banks, Jr, 67, of Henrico, Virginia departed his earthly life on Friday, November 17, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.

Stephen was born in Louisa County on May 29, 1956, to Stephen and Mary Banks, Sr.  He attended Louisa County High School in Mineral, Virginia.

He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Socks, Los Angeles Lakers, LSU Tigers, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also had a love for outdoors, especially grilling, building model cars, and collecting basketball and baseball cards.

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice A. Banks, his son, Carlos R. White and father, Stephen Banks, Sr.

He is survived by his children, Tameka (Robert) of Chester, VA, Shea-Dawn (Christopher) of Lynchburg, VA, Natasha of Henrico, VA, Autumn of Northern, VA, Jason of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Isaiah, Chace, Jennavecia, Christopher, Cameron, Isreal, Azriel, Darius, Jamari, Legacy, Abigail, Jaidyn, Elijah, and Avah; his loving mother, Mary E. Banks; brother, Earl Scott (Audrey); sister, Evelyn M. Comfort; sister-law, Alice R. Howard; brother-in-law, Charles “Butch” White (Kay); his fur grandbabies, Foxy, Isis, and Prince; a host of other relatives and friends.

Stephen was a loving father and friend.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
