On Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 8:30 p.m. JUDY CORRINE BARLEY BOOKER accepted her wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Judy was born to the late Sherman and Corrine Barley on July 8, 1951 in Amelia County Virginia.  At an early age she was baptized and joined Little Union Baptist Church.  She also attended Amelia County Public Schools. She retired from Laurel Oaks Nursing facility in Chesterfield, Virginia.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Corrine Barley, her son, Robert Lee Barley “Lil Heavy”, and brother, James Sherman Barley.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, loving husband, Gregory Booker; sisters, Phyllis Crump (Arthur), Lovelean Bailey, and Caldonia Smith (Alphonso Jefferson, Sr.);  aunt, Lucy Anderson (George); uncles, Morven Barley (Lillian), and Randall Barley; sisters-in-law, Norma Oulds Barley, Tangerine Booker, and Norvella Trent; nieces, Vickie Clay, and Tawanna B. Robinson; nephews, Rodney Leon Bailey, Sherrod Arthur Lee Crump, and Darrell Oulds; cousins, other relatives and friends, devoted, Shirley Harris and Joanne White.
