Obituary of Mary Etta Booker Jefferson

Mary Etta Booker Jefferson, age 58, departed this life peacefully at home on December 24,2023.

"Etta", as she was called by several family members and friends, was the youngest daughter born in Amelia, Virginia to Mary, "Mary Belle" Booker & the late (Jesse " Willard " Booker Sr) on January 22, 1965.

Mary attended Amelia County High Shcool. After attending high school, she worked multiple jobs, until the year 2003; when she was involved in a life changing car accident that lead to her becoming disabled. Mary loved cooking, eating all of the sweets, Dancing, playing cards snd reading her Bible religiously.

Mary was loved by various people because of her warm heat and euphoria to those around her.

Before leaving this life, Mary was the devoted wife to the Late (Edward Norman Jefferson Sr.) and loving Mother of her two children Edward Norman Jefferson Jr. (Crewe, VA), Octavia Renia Jefferson (Amelia, VA) a stepson on Alex Jefferson (Barbara) (Amelia, VA] and four grandchildren London, Faith, Dexter, and Byron.

Mary also leaves behind her loving mother Mary B. Booker (Amelia, VA), and 8 siblings: Darlene Booker (Richmond, VA), Sylvia Booker (Amelia, VA), Adlena Booker (Amelia, VA), Gloria Wise (Richmond, VA), Jesse Booker ]r, ( Tammy) (Hampton, VA), Darryl Booker (Jackie) (Amelia, VA), Matthew Booker (Tricia) (Amelia, VA), Quentin Booker (Tisha) (Powhatan, VA), five Brother-n- Laws, One Sister-n- Law, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
