Obituary of Nicholas Antoan Higgs
Please share a memory of Nicholas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Tuesday morning, May 14, 2024, while the dew was fresh on the roses, God sent one of His angels to go by the bedside and gently called Nicholas Antoan Higgs to his heavenly home to rest.
“Nick” as he was lovingly called, was born on April 16, 1984, to Sally Booker in Richmond, Virginia. He was baptized and joined the Branches Runn Baptist Church at an early age, where he was a member of the former junior choir and junior usher board. He graduated from Amelia County High School in 2003.
Nick’s hobbies were cooking, a unique talent for art, gaming, camping, paintball, fishing and collecting animations.
Nick leaves precious and loving memories to his loving wife, Amanda; children, Tristan and Ava; mother, Sally Booker; sisters, Chaunnette and Tatyana; brother, Charles; niece, Zora; nephew, Adrian; mother-in-law, Marla Conlin; aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, cousins, other relatives and many friends, dearest, Darrell Owens, Sr. and Darrell Bates, Jr.
Nick’s final words as he was beginning to transition from this earthly life was “why is there a long line.”
