Antonio "Tony" Hamlin Obituary

Antonio "Tony" Hamlin departed this life on Friday June 21, 2024.  He was born on July 11, 1962, to Dorothy and James Hamlin as the youngest of nine children.  He attended Amelia County Public Schools and graduated in June of 1980.


In July of 1991 he married Mary Carol Finney.  He enjoyed hunting and watching his favorite football team the Washington Redskins.  He worked for Bradshaw Tractor Company in Blackstone for many years, before joining his cousin and great friend Louis Hembrick renovating houses. 


He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and James Hamlin, brother Danny, sister Valorie, and his wife, Mary Carol. 


 He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Sandra, Shelia “Sista”, Kelly, Joan “Goat”, and Brenda; one brother, James “Bubba” (Joyce); daughter, Ashleigh; grandchildren; step-daughter, Teresa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
