It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Mabel O. Royal, of Durham NC, on January 14, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Haywood and Isabelle Royal of Burkeville, VA. 

Viewing will be Friday, January 24th, from 3:00 pm until 7:00pm at the Mark H. Oliver Chapel, 300 Meade Street, Crewe, VA 23930 

Dr. Royal's Celebration of Life service will be held at the Morning Star Baptist Church, 284 Raccoon Crossing Rd, Burkeville, VA 23922, on January 25th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
