Obituary of Joshua Michael- Lee Edwards

Joshua Michael-Lee Edwards, 30, passed from this life Friday, August 14, 2020. Joshua was born August 16, 1989 to his parents, Michael W. And Lelia P. Edwards, the youngest of six children. He was a 2007 graduate of Amelia County High School and received his EMT certificate at the age of 16. He was a junior member of the Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department and the Amelia Emergency Squad. He was also an active volunteer with the Amelia County Christmas Parents Committee’s annual Toy Shop. Joshua is survived by his daughter, Natalie; his son, Alex; stepson, Caleb Wolski; his wife, Ashley; his siblings, Michael Jr. (Keisha), Jessica Davis (Jermaine), Rebecca Amos (Hunter), Christine Hamrick (Kevin) Martha Edwards (John) and his adopted sister, Jeannette Harkness (Jesse); uncles, Evan and Kenny Edwards and Ralph Price (Elena) aunts, Deborah Gardner (Vernon), Robin Burton and Cheryl Mazejka, seven nephews, six nieces and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph Price (Norma), Jane Grady (Jimmie), Percy Edwards Sr., and Ann Hattoff; and his uncles, Percy “Bubba” Edwards and Gary Price. Joshua loved his children and adventures in the outdoors: hiking in the woods, swimming in the river and nature itself.
