Rebecca Anderson Brown was born to the late Tony and Nora Davis Anderson on September 2, 1924 in Jetersville, Virginia.
Rebecca attended public school in Jetersville, VA. She moved to New York and their she was employed as a domestic worker. In later years she relocated back to Virginia.
Rebecca loved music, dancing, singing and was a unique cook, especially for her rolls and biscuits.
Having grown up in a Christian environment, she continued her religious meeting at The Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses. Rebecca was joined in holy matrimony to the late William Grant Brown. To this union three sons were born, Grant, Bobby, and Edgar. Grant and Edgar preceded her in death and one granddaughter, Jennifer Brown.
Left to cherish her memories are: son, Bobby Brown (Nancy); seven grandchildren; great grandchildren; great- great grandchildren; niece, Mabel Brown; nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
