Obituary of Arthur Lee Finney

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning.

Don’t grieve for me because I am now free.

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, God called home one of His heavenly Angels, Arthur Lee “Doll” Finney.  Arthur “Doll” was born February 26, 1951 in Amelia County, Virginia to the late Lee (Bumble Bee) and Thelma (Lady) Finney. Arthur attended Amelia County Public Schools.

At an early age he confessed Christ as his personal Savior. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  His favorite words he used were “Tighten Up” and “Alright In the Morning”.  “Doll” also loved fast cars and his motor scooters.  He worked for Joe Davis Company for 25 years and Wynn Garret for 20 years. 

Arthur was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Carolyn Finney Hamlin.
