Obituary of Layla Amari Howard

Miss Layla Amari Howard, 16 of Crewe, Virginia departed her life suddenly on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Chippenham Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.  Layla was the daughter of Thomas and Initia Casper Howard and the granddaughter of Theresa Casper and the late Lewis Casper, and David and Bernice Howard, Sr.

Layla was attending Nottoway High School which would have been her Senior year.  Layla was currently working at McDonald’s in Amelia and Wendy’s in Powhatan.  

In addition to Layla’s career, she loved to cook, and was an amazing and loving person who always kept a beautiful smile. Layla had so many talents and truly loved writing her own music.  Layla wanted to become a chef, she had a very positive mind and loved everyone and so many people and family loved her.

She was preceded in death also by Rosa Barbour, and James and Lewis Casper, Jr.
